VideoCompressor is a Windows utility designed to help you reduce the file size of your movies. The program might come in handy if you're dealing with a large video collection and want to easily reclaim disk space on your PC without deleting any of your movies.
This tool features a straightforward interface, is compatible with various video formats, and supports drag-and-drop actions. It also lets you choose the compression level and lets you know the amount of disk space you will be able to reclaim by compressing the imported video file.
An aspect that annoyed me starting from the point I completed the installation of the tool until I compressed a video file was the fact that the program occasionally displayed error messages. Furthermore, in my testing, it took a while to compress a large-sized video.
Another disadvantage is the fact that you need to restart the program in order to apply the changes you make in the Settings panel.
In conclusion, I'd say you should first test the utility on your PC and then decide if it's worth purchasing the full edition of VideoCompressor or not.
